Christians Try Atheism for a Day

Just came across this post. A Christian couple wore nametags identifying themselves as part of an atheist group while at the Creationism Museum and talk about their experience.

… While I did not have a T-shirt (a symbol anyway) it was obvious that there was a distinctive way that we were being treated because of the shared identification. There were hateful glances, exaggerated perceptions, waxing surveillance by security, and anxious but strong ‘amens’ accompanying a lecture on “The Ultimate Proof of Creation” by Dr. Jason Lisle.

I read some more of the OPs blog. He is exacttly the kind of Christian you can have a conversation with without him constantly throughing out the empty refer to scripture to prove scripture ploy so commone among creationists. I would love to be able to have a conversation with him. He seems like a remarkable well rounded, open minded, person who is comfortable with what he belives and has actually though about it for himeself. Man I'd love to have a first hand converation with him the number of theists I'e met who fit the bill are under 5 total. A rare breed and the only theists I genuinely respect thier beliefs.
